Chamo San is an artist and illustrator from Barcelona. Sketched Memories contains a selection of drawings made by the artist in his sketchbooks between 2011 and 2021. Divided into several sections, the most important is the “Diary”, which includes sketches made in situ from the artist’s closest circle (friends, relatives, couples, etc.). The other chapters are dedicated to portraits of artists from the local scene, a section dedicated to carnets de voyage (the classic travel diaries) and another section dedicated to the process of elaboration of engraving and serial work created from some of the sketches made in the notebooks them- selves. In addition, own texts and a small compilation of artworks exhibited in galleries are also included.

About the Artist
Chamo San is an artist and draftsman. He studied Fine Arts in Barcelona and at the ENSBA (École National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts) in Paris. After more than 10 years of career, Chamo San has exhibited his work in several galleries in Spain, France, Mexico and the United States.
