The Latin American Photobook integrates one hundred and fifty works of great richness and complexity, which reveal the enormous contribution that Latin America has made to the history of the fotolibro, as well as some of the best kept secrets of the history of photography.

It is a critical study that provides relevant information about the authors and the social, cultural and political context of the photobooks presented, which are reproduced with the greatest graphic display and constitute the most outstanding production from the origin of the photobook in Latin America to the present day. In chronological and thematic order, the reader will find the most outstanding photobooks from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and Venezuela.
