In his epitaph to the age of conspicuous consumption and wealth, Luxury features Martin Parr’s photographs from five years of watching the rich and fabulous at international champagne-fuelled gatherings. In a series that manages to be both satirical and affectionate towards his subjects, Parr’s photographs take place in settings that include parties, horse races and notable luxury events including the Millionaires Fair, Moscow, the Dubai Art Fair and the Art Basel, Miami.
