History of the Visit is a small book with a strong atmosphere. There are rugged cliffs, dark barren landscapes, ground vegetation and different shaped monoliths, buildings with no obvious function and few interiors not meant to reside in. While the silver grey of the images is getting louder you are traveling on the moon like an isolated earthling looking for the right direction.
About the Artist
Daniel Reuter was born in Germany in 1976, grew up in Luxembourg and currently divides his time between the latter and Reykjavik, Iceland. He received his MFA in Photography from the University of Hartford in 2013, where he studied under Robert Lyons, Mary Frey, Jörg Colberg, Alec Soth and Thomas Weski. His work has been exhibited in Europe, the United States and Japan.
