About the Artists
Michael Friberg is a photographer and director in Los Angeles. His work has focused on the Syrian and Iraqi refugee crisis in Jordan and Lebanon as well as explorations of Mormon Culture in Utah and water issues facing the Colorado River. In 2013 he was named one of the PDN 30. In 2016, alongside Benjamin Rasmussen, he headed up and curated the DISPATCHED project in collaboration with VSCO in which 6 different photographers each worked on a specific project about the refugee crisis in the Middle East.
