This is a small programme for the 5th Fingal International Photo Fest, which took place in 2004. The 2004 theme was sports photography. A pamphlet spread over 8 pages, the 9th page opens up to a large poster for the festival. This programme details the many submissions to the festival from all over the world as well as some examples of the winning photographs. Hungarian photographer Gábor Takács won the first prize. The exhibition took place from 12th June to 24th August 2004 at the Draíocht Centre for the Arts in Blanchardstown, Dublin.
About the Festival
The Fingal International Photo Festival was established by Fingal County Council soon after its inception in 1994, with the goal to promote photography as an art form in the local area. The festival focused on amateur photography both internationally and nationally.
