Nuevo Fotografía Escocesa is the first overview of the work of a group of new wave Scottish artists working in Scotland. Through the images of seventeen artists – ranging from traditional documentary photographers whose work is black and white, to a new generation of installation artists and sculptors and collage artists – this book celebrates the vitality of contemporary Scottish photography and examines the forces, currents and countercurrents, and the personalities that have been developing, in the five years before its publication.
