This CRB edition features Kevin O’Farrell’s photographs of matchmaking events around Cork City in 1992. The Sunday Tribune commissioned him to document an event at the Metropole Hotel which took place over three days and saw over 300 singles flock to the capital to find love. The event saw mostly men and some married people as divorce would not be legal for another five years.
