These three books were produced as supporting publications for the Kassel Photo Forum between the years 2007 and 2010. Each edition looks back on recently published photobooks from the year before, highlighting the most remarkable and captivating among them. Additional commentaries are provided on the photobooks by people such as David Campany, Martin Parr, Joan Fontcuberta and Zoe Leonard. PHOTOBOOK.PH: 2007 – 10 provides not only a fascinating insight into the production of photobooks during the period, but also a good example of photobook criticism.
About the Editor
Dieter Neubert has studied visual communication and is Founder and Director of the Kassel Fotobookfestival and Founder of the Kassel Photobook and Dummy Awards. He is chief editor of the publication PHOTOPAPER. He published books like the Daido Moriyama anthology ON DAIDO and KASSEL MENU by Martin Parr.

The Kasseler Fotoforum was established in April 2004, it is a non-profit association that sees themselves as a public platform for photography. They deal with photography’s situation in the Kassel area and endeavour to strengthen the awareness of the artistic and cultural significance of this medium.
