Sophie Boursat uses her photography expertise to discover and promote young and emerging photographers with a special focus on Japanese photographers. Boursat’s artistic career spans from curating to consulting for the Centre Georges Pompidou, collaborating with several art newspapers, as well as being engaged on workshops and conferences. She has collaborated with galleries such as Photo 4, LWS gallery and Plac’Art Photo in Paris and with fair events such as Les Rencontres d’Arles, Photo Off-Paris and Nofound Photo Fair Paris.

Sophie Boursat is an artist and writer who carries on her curatorial practice as well as collaborating as an expert with the agency Observatoire de l’Art Contemporain. Her expertise covers particularly the relation between photography and contemporary art.
