As a dialogue between landscape and abstract painting, ‘Fluss’ (River) combines works of oil on canvas of the Swiss artist Nelly Haliti, born in 1987 and photographs of Dr. Rudolf H. Beck (1919 – 2010) who had worked as a geologist with Royal Dutch Shell for 28 years. All photographs in this publication were taken during expeditions between 1959 and 1971 in British-Cameroon, Nigeria, the Bahamas, Siberia and Iran. Bird’s eye view recognises fragments of these images which extend in the flow of the paintings.

About the Artists
Fabio Parizzi is the founder of Bureau for Graphics, which began in 2013. ‘I work mainly with clients from the cultural and social field in the print media. A further pillar I seek the release of self-publishing work in the fields of art and photography. My design has the purpose of my clients and their representing respective services. At the top there is in each quality and sustainability, but I do not lose trends and fashions from the eyes.’

Dr. Phil Rudolf H. Beck (1919 — 2010) worked for Royal Dutch Shell for 28 years, where he took photographs alongside his work. Initially as an exploration geologist in Venezuela, later as an exploration manager in Nigeria.
