Analogue This explores the current relationship between analogue and digital techniques. Although the two techniques have often been portrayed as opposites, this work aims to combine them and consider the possibility of complementing each other. Each of the photographs in this book consists of an analogue photo incorporated into a digital image. The photographs are situated in Bulgaria, Germany and Ireland. The locations and times at which the photographs were taken are important markers for the author. They represent private rituals of her friends, her boyfriend and herself. The work explores notions of in-betweenness and identity construction. This work is a story of the unconscious search for a physical and emotional home.
