Description of Form
This photobook takes form in 6, 80 x 80mm booklets which fold out into a 420 x 300mm print. And one 65 x 65mm booklet with attached LED (not working). The booklets are wraped in yellow tissue and stored in a cardboard box 170 x 120mm.
About the Artist
Akiko Arai Born in Osaka / Lives in Tokyo. Widely active mainly in paper media such as magazines, cooking, practical books, and advertisements. Since 2010, he has launched Edition SO SOUP and has been producing ZINE and objects. Participates in book fairs in Japan and overseas, and holds exhibitions.
About the Publisher
Sosoup is a publication collective created by Masahito Yamamoto and Akiko Arai, both active photographers. They create in various forms, creating art objects, video works and more traditional book-like publications at Edition Sosoup. Edition Sosoup was founded in 2012. They work ‘beyond the limit of the photograph’.
