Every year FOMU selects ten promising artists and photographers with a Belgian connection. They are taken on a one-year journey where they are given several opportunities to present their work to an international professional audience. In addition, FOMU makes the magazine and the group exhibition .tiff together with them.
.tiff 2023 presents the work of Kwabena Sekyi Appiah-Nti, Emilio Azevedo, Eva Maria Bouillon, Luna Mahoux, Fabrice Schneider, Sarah Stone, Brahim Tall, Kristof Thomas, Oxiea Villamonte and Yao Yuan.
Like ‘Belgian photography’, .tiff cannot be grouped under one heading. It is a sample of the diversity and dynamism of the photographic landscape in Belgium. With .tiff, FOMU gives emerging talent a platform to a wider audience and network.
.tiff is part of FUTURES , a collaboration between FOMU and a growing number of European partners.
