Photonet+ are the series of photo magazines MONTHLY PHOTONET’s supplement which had published from September 2008 to July 2010 of “In Search of Korean Contemporary Photography”.
Koo Sung-Soo discloses aspects of Korean society by maximising the mechanical force of a camera. In Hanal High School, All of the places, and Inspection of Factory, he shows a trajectory of Korean modernisation, while in Magical Reality he highlights aspects of consumer culture, leading viewers to an awareness of reality. Owing to the detailed view of a mechanical sight, the reality he shows looks unfamiliar but gives aesthetic satisfaction.
