Ombre Lucenti (Luminous Shadows) documents the daily lives and sense of community, of the inhabitants in Villaggio Trieste a neighbourhood not too far from the artists home town Latina in central Italy. This is photobook is an accompaniment to the exhibition, the layout can be seen in in a spread.
About the Artist
Serena Radicioli was born in Latina in 1997. She graduated from the G.B Grassi scientific high school in Latina. She attended the two-year school of Officine Fotografiche in Rome, and in 2020 she enrolled in the three-year degree course in photography and audiovisual at RUFA, where she is currently attending the second year. “I have found in photography a way to represent my emotional states, through an intimate and irrational approach that goes beyond the purely aesthetic aspects of photography.”
