I Went Looking for a Ship is a navigation through the landscape of shipping, following the major renovation of the sea lock in IJmuiden, the most important access to the port of Amsterdam.

About the artist
Natascha Libbert (1973) lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After working for several years as an account manager at ad agency (FHV/BBDO), she decided to become a part-time flight attendant in order to go back to school and did this from 2002-2012. She studied photography at the Royal Academy of Arts (KABK) and graduated there in June 2009. In 2014, having worked at several communications departments at KLM, she became a full time freelance photographer after all.
