Cuba Mía (My Cuba) shows 80 black-and-white photographs taken in 1964 by the Mexican photographer Rodrigo Moya and exhibited for the first time to mark the 50th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution. They present the hopes and dreams of the revolution during the early years of the Cuban revolution and include a dozen rare photographs of Ernesto Che Guevara during his time as Cuban Minister of Industry.

About the Artist
Rodrigo Moya (born 1934) is a Mexican photojournalist, writer and publisher who is best known for his photographic work from 1955 to 1968. He mostly photographed for newspapers and magazines, documenting social and political upheavals in Central and South America – namely Guatemala, Venezuela and Cuba.

About the Publisher
The publishing house of Casa Amèrica Catalunya takes its name from the maximum distance that separates Latin America (Hanga Roa, Easter Island) from Catalonia (Portlligat, Alt Empordà).
