Thomas Demands photographs exist in the subtle boundary area that separates reality from imagination. His works emerge from his photographs of three-dimensional maquettes that describe a world reduced to pure models. The artist calls into question the traditional veracity attributed to the photographic image. For his first exhibition in an Italian museum, Demand is presenting new photographic works conceived for the historical context of the Castello di Rivoli as well as a new film entitled Recorder. Recorder will be presented in the Baroque chapel located on the second floor of the Castello.
