In the ongoing work ‘Authority Can Appear As A Cosmic Neblua’, the material of the photographic negative is directly exposed without a camera using a stun gun. The Taser X26 is the most widely used taser by law enforcement agencies around the world as an alternative to non-lethal, more benign arrest methods. In some countries this is freely available as a self-defense weapon, in other countries such as Germany there is currently a debate about the use of these non-lethal weapons.

About the Artists
Anna Ehrenstein was born in Germany to Albanian parents and works in transdisciplinary artistic practice. While her mother could access a work visa, her father left Germany after denied asylum and started anew in Tirana. This biographical peculiarityand growing up between the two most distinct societies on what is atm constructed as the European continent, aroused her interest in the necropolitics of migration. The main focus of her work is thinking about the perspective and material culture of the periphery, networked images and ecologies. The materialisation of intangible data and consciousness within circular glitch assemblies is as much part of her installation process as texts and written word. She works with a large number of groups on joint artistic projects and believes in the radical possibilities of collective unlearning.
