Noted for their staunch support of Mandela’s efforts in the 1980’s, the Dutch have a tumultuous, albeit enduring relationship with the former leader. Jan Dirk Van Der Burg and Stefanie Grätz document the abundance of locations in the Netherlands named in honour of the late South African president. Images of conference rooms, boats, and cats endowed with Mandela’s namesake evidence his far-reaching influence.
