This is the Futures Photography annual publication from 2019, containing photographers represented from all over Europe, specifically the following institutions: The British Journal of Photography, The Calvert Journal, Camera, Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center, FOMU Fotomuseum of Antwerp, Hyeres Festival, Fotofestival Lodz, PHotoESPAÑA, PhotoIreland, Photo Romania, Triennial of Photography Hamburg and Unseen Foundation. Represented artists from PhotoIreland include Dorje de Burgh, Yvette Monahan, Aisling McCoy, George Voronov and Megan Doherty.
About the Organisation
Co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, Futures is a Europe-based photography platform bringing together the global photography community to support and nurture the professional development of emerging artists across the world. Since 2017, it aims to add long-term value in empowering early and mid-career photographers – launching initiatives to promote their work and granting them access to an unprecedented network of professionals, markets and audiences.
