In August 2015, Laibach (a Slovenian industrial avant-garde music group) performed two consecutive concerts in Pyongyang, North Korea on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Korean peninsula. Morten Traavik, a Norwegian director, activist and artist, made a documentary with the band Laibach called Liberation Day, which premiered at the beginning of 2017. A lot of photographic material was also created during the tour and during the filming of the film – so documentary as original author – which we present with this catalog to foreign and domestic audiences.
