About the Organisation
The Kharkiv Photo Forum was an organised forum that took place from the 18th to the 21st of August in Kharkiv, Ukraine to discuss the Kharkiv School of Photography. During the four days, researchers from different European countries, direct participants and witnesses of the school’s formation joined the discussions and analysis of various topics and personalities associated with the concept of KHSP. With this event, they contextualised the phenomenon of the Kharkiv school, expanded the idea of its definition and boundaries, revealed the differences and similarities of aesthetic approaches of its participants, and attracted a wide audience to study the practices of Kharkiv photography.
