The Library Project will remain closed till January 17th, reopening for the launch of John Russell’s exhibition ‘ETON’, organised by Black Church Print Studios. Access to the library will be limited and on demand till that date, and only during gallery hours for the month of January. The bookshop remains available online and will come back to the space on February 9th.

An exhibition of print and performance work by John Russell related to Eton private school and its extraordinary alumni of Prime Ministers of Great Britain (29), leaders of industry and heads of church in its 500 year history.

John Russell was a founder member of the London-based art group BANK (1990-2000) and as part of that collective practice was responsible for the production of a series of exhibitions and artworks throughout the 1990s. Since 2000 he has worked both independently and collaboratively to produce paintings, films, large-scale digital images, publications and curational projects, at venues in the UK, Europe and the US including Tate, Royal Academy London, and Nottingham Contemporary. In addition, he has edited and designed three books Frozen Tears 1-3, (ARTicle Press, 2003-2007) and written for publications such as Frieze, eflux and Mute Magazine.
